Streets (of Toledo, Spain)

Toledo, a small city south of Madrid, has a deep, rich history going back over 2,000 years, with Muslim, Christian and Jewish influences on the architecture. I was mesmerized by the ancient structures and the myriad of winding alleys and narrow passages. Calling these “streets” is a misnomer in our modern sense, as many can only be traversed on foot.
In these shots, I wanted to capture both the vibrancy and intimacy in the landscape I felt while walking through Toledo.
